Swiss firm Paillard is probably best known for its movie cameras Bolex. Still, they manufactured typewriters under the Hermes brand name. This design is inspired by the type sample from a 1969 typewriter, the Hermes 3000. Hermes Sans was later designed as a sans-serif alternative and became a studio favourite for its all-round functionality and remarkable legibilty. Both Hermes and Hermes Sans comes in three weights and their matching italics. Available exclusively through Optimo.
